This is our fifth year buying coffee from Teodoro Engelhardt and his amazing team at Finca La Bella. Located in Sierra de las Minas area of El Progresso, the farm is in it’s fourth generation and run with sustainable agroforestry in mind. The beauty of and consideration for the land is apparent in every cup, year after year.
The care for the land is exemplified in Finca La Bella’s success with producing the fussy and demanding variety, Villa Sarchi. Although this variety has high nutrient requirements and is susceptible to many diseases, the attention to the land has created a beautiful coffee out of this variety lot. With the classic Guatemalan cocoa laying the base, a high note of citrusy pomelo brings something unique to this elegant coffee. AKA, satisfaction in a cup.

During the COVID-19 outbreak and temporary business closures, we will be roasting on a limited schedule. Our upcoming roast date is 6/29.
Note: Our coffee is currently only roasted on Mondays.
All orders placed after Saturday 5pm PST will be roasted and shipped on the following Monday, one week later.
